Privacy policy
Effective September 6, 2026
Your prayers stay on your device. Usage analytics is optional. We do not sell your personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
1. Who we are and how to contact us
This policy explains how the developer of Little Grace (“we,” “us”) handles information in the mobile app and on these support pages. For questions or privacy requests, contact codyssey100@gmail.com.
2. Your prayers and garden
Prayer text, the scripture reference associated with a prayer, record dates, garden arrangements, collected objects, your sheep’s name and app preferences are stored locally on your device. We do not operate an account system or upload this journal content to a database. Your device’s backup settings may separately include app data under the device provider’s terms.
When you export prayers, your device creates a file and opens its share sheet. You decide where to send or save that file. We do not receive it unless you choose to send it to us. Deleting the app or losing your device may remove your records; keep an export if you want a separate copy.
3. Optional usage analytics
With your permission, we use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand whether people can complete important actions: opening the garden, starting and saving a prayer, revealing a discovery, arranging items, viewing membership plans, starting or completing a purchase, restoring access and opening help links.
These events contain fixed labels such as the chosen plan, the screen that opened a flow, success or failure, and whether a saved prayer is the first one. We do not send prayer text, scripture selections or references, sheep names, record identifiers, email addresses or message contents as analytics parameters. We do not set a personal user ID.
When enabled, Google’s SDK also processes an app-instance identifier and technical usage information, such as app/OS version, device characteristics, session activity and approximate geographic information derived from network data. This is pseudonymous usage measurement, not a claim that all data is anonymous. Advertising identifier collection, Google Signals and advertising personalization are disabled.
Analytics starts disabled. You can allow it at the optional prompt or change Settings → Usage analytics. Turning it off stops future app analytics and resets the local analytics identifier. It does not automatically erase previously processed reports. Event- and user-level retention in our Analytics property is set to two months; aggregated reports can remain longer.
4. Purchases
Apple processes iOS purchases and Google Play processes Android purchases and provides transaction and entitlement information so the app can verify membership, restore access and handle renewals or revocations. We do not receive your full payment card details. Store transaction information is handled under the store’s privacy policy. When analytics is enabled, optional funnel events may record a plan and purchase outcome, and Google’s analytics SDK may measure purchase events such as the product, currency and value. We do not receive your full payment card details through analytics.
5. Support emails and reminders
If you email support, we receive your address, the message and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to answer you and resolve the issue. Do not include passwords, payment card details or sensitive prayer content unless you deliberately wish to share it. We retain support correspondence as needed to resolve the request and maintain a reasonable support history; you may request deletion, subject to legal obligations.
Daily reminders are scheduled locally after you grant notification permission. They do not require uploading your prayers or registering a remote push-notification profile with us.
6. These support pages and service providers
These pages use Firebase Hosting. Google processes necessary delivery/security information, including IP addresses and request metadata, to serve and protect the site. Firebase states that Hosting retains IP data for a few months. These pages do not load advertising, Google Analytics scripts or non-essential cookies.
Our providers include Google/Firebase for hosting and optional app analytics, Gmail for support correspondence, Apple for iOS billing, and Google Play for Android billing. Processing may take place outside your country. See Firebase privacy and security, Google’s privacy policy and Apple’s privacy policy.
7. Your choices and rights
You can decline analytics without losing access to prayer features, revoke analytics permission in Settings, disable notifications in device settings, export your prayers, or delete individual prayers in the app. To request access, correction, deletion or information about support data we hold, email us. Depending on your location, additional rights may apply, including objecting to or restricting processing, withdrawing consent and contacting a data-protection authority. We will respond as required by applicable law.
We use consent for optional analytics and process support information to respond to requests and maintain the service. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Because we do not associate analytics identifiers with your email or an account, we may not be able to identify historical analytics records from an email address alone.
8. Security and younger users
We limit the information collected and rely on device and provider security protections. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. Little Grace is intended for a general audience, not specifically for children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can review and address it.
9. Changes
We may update this policy as the app changes. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice or request consent when required. Material changes to how prayer content is handled will not be introduced silently.
